Pastor Larry

It has always been the proclivity of Pastor Larry to be the instrument of choice in the cognizant but purposeful facilitating of life enriching change from an individual perspective.
He began his career in the United States Air Force in 1982. He always found solace in team oriented sports and activities. His years of basketball playing finally paid off when he befriended, what he later would find to be the person the Father hath sent to lead him to the cross of Calvary in 1996. While completing his degree in Airway Science, Pastor Larry began to devote significant portions of his days towards the knowledge of his GOD as a member of Emmanuel Bible Fellowship, Jacksonville, AR. Within eight months of receiving the gift of eternal life through faith and by the grace of GOD, he received the indwelling of the Holy Ghost with significant evidence and an invigorated pursuit after the heart of GOD.
It was just a few months later that news of re-assignment to continue service in the United States Air Force by way of Aviano, Italy was delivered. The Lord led him and his family to a small church (The Rock Church of Italy) outside of the confines of the airbase where he worshiped, grew and served the pastors faithfully.
As his pastors were being called to began missionary work in Liberia, Africa; he subsequently entered into ministerial training. Upon completion of ministerial training, Pastor Larry was met with the charge to take the leading role and stand in as the ministry lead after the departure of the founding pastors. This "yes" ultimately led to being installed as the pastor by Bishop John Giminez of the Rock Church of Virginia Beach. The work of not only sustaining the ministry, but growing the congregation and improving the financial stability of the ministry led to the licensing to the elder-ship in 1998.

Upon completion of the assignment and transfer of responsibility of the Rock Church of Italy, Pastor Larry was re-assigned to Sumter, SC where he completed his 21 years of military service while serving faithfully as an elder in the Lord's church at the “Little White” chapel on the airbase. Within a few months, he accepted a position in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as a civilian contractor and immediately initiated weekly bible studies under a coconut tree until he was granted permission to utilize a local facility-subsequent Sunday services were born by the grace of GOD. His follow-on contract to Bosnia Herzegovina led to the protestant services of the camp being turned over to him for the duration of his assignment. Upon returning to the United States, he found himself searching for the will of God for his life in Charlotte, NC.
It is accredited to the divine plan of GOD that he would meet a young lady by the name of Tracey Parker that would be the catapult to reposition him and set him before the Lord once again. They would marry, move to Greenville, SC, give birth to identical twin boys and begin to serve at the good pleasure of Apostle Sammy C. Smith of Grace Cathedral Ministries. As an associate pastor and the Chief of Staff; it was there that the Lord called him to solitary early morning prayer for 213 days. Within two weeks, the Lord instructed him to drive to Hickory, NC where God had opened doors and paved the way to the inception of a grassroots ministry for the reconciliation of the people of GOD back to HIM.
